Casual Childcare Educator Edmonton

Support children’s learning and wellbeing as a Casual Educator at Active Start Childcare’s Harvest Hills location in Edmonton. Use engagement and communication skills daily.

This on-call Casual Educator position supports children from 12 months through kindergarten. You will create programming, supervise children, and maintain safe, clean environments. The role requires adaptability, multitasking, and dependable communication with children, families, and colleagues.

• Create engaging programming around children’s interests and needs
• Lead integrated learning and recreational activities
• Supervise children and support their wellbeing
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Build positive relationships with families and colleagues

• Alberta Child Care certification level 1, 2, or 3
• Current vulnerable sector criminal record check
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills
• Full-day availability at least three days weekly
