This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for branding, layout, visual consistency, and design that supports restaurant promotions, guest communication, and digital marketing.
Position Summary
The Graphic Design Specialist will be responsible for creating digital and print-ready design materials that support Pampa’s marketing initiatives, promotions, events, newsletters, social media, and in-restaurant communication.
The ideal candidate is organized, creative, reliable, and able to produce clean, professional designs while following brand direction and deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
Create graphic design assets for promotions, campaigns, events, and restaurant features.
Design social media graphics, story layouts, digital ads, newsletters, posters, table talkers, signage, and other marketing materials.
Prepare print-ready files when needed.
Support location-specific campaigns for Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and other Pampa initiatives.
Ensure all materials are accurate, including pricing, dates, location details, offers, and promotional conditions.
Maintain brand consistency across all digital and printed materials.
Assist with resizing and adapting designs for different platforms and formats.
Organize design files, editable assets, and final versions properly.
Work closely with the marketing team to complete projects according to timelines and campaign needs.
Requirements
Experience with graphic design.
Strong understanding of layout, typography, branding, and visual hierarchy.
Experience creating materials for social media, digital marketing, print, or promotional campaigns.
Comfortable using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or similar design platforms.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Comfortable designing for restaurant, food, beverage, and hospitality-related content.
Must be based in Edmonton, Calgary, or Red Deer, or be available to support design needs in these markets.
Candidates selected for an interview will be asked to provide a portfolio or examples of previous work, including social media graphics, print materials, promotional designs, branding projects, or other relevant creative assets.
Schedule
This is a part-time position, estimated at 10 to 15 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on campaigns, events, content needs, and business priorities.
Some flexibility may be required during promotional launches, seasonal campaigns, and urgent design requests.
Compensation
$19/hour
