CBC Edmonton is looking for a collaborative and creative associate producer. You will be responsible for driving the visual narrative of local news, connecting with diverse audiences through engaging content on multiple platforms.
Your role will ensure that all storytelling meets CBC’s journalistic standards reflecting the community’s rich diversity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on innovative TV news program development
• Write compelling scripts and conduct interviews
• Package and edit stories under tight deadlines
• Promote story content for cross-platform distribution
• Support live newscasts and breaking news situations
Requirements:
• Two years of experience in broadcast news
• Proven ability in writing and visual storytelling
• Familiarity with Alberta's culture and community needs
• Valid driver’s license to meet CBC criteria
• Ability to work varied hours as required
Engage with the community through impactful storytelling as part of the CBC Edmonton team.
