Be part of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra as their Assistant Principal Trombone for the season. This full-time opportunity seeks skilled trombonists eager to make an impact.
This exciting role starts in September 2027, with auditions at the Winspear Centre on October 20, 2026. Participate in a 41-week season consisting of 291 services. The ESO is committed to musical integrity and serves as a cultural bridge for diverse communities through innovative projects and performances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Assistant Principal in the trombone section
• Collaborate with musicians in rehearsals and performances
• Engage in educational initiatives within the community
• Propose and develop new artistic projects
• Support a creative and nurturing musical environment
Requirements:
• Demonstrated excellence on the trombone
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
