Edmonton Associate Producer

Position: Edmonton Full-Time Associate Producer Role
Become an Associate Producer at CKUA in Edmonton, where you'll create meaningful musical content that resonates with audiences. This full-time, in-person position involves research, audio editing, and live event participation.

At CKUA, you’ll work closely with the Content team to produce diverse audio experiences, from features and podcasts to live broadcasts.

Your role will require you to develop background notes and sharp editorial pieces, employing your understanding of musical genres to enhance production. Strong collaboration with Senior Producers and hosts will be essential as you navigate multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth interviews and edit recordings

• Research topics and prepare comprehensive notes

• Collaborate on music curation for various projects

• Capture audio and video for live events

• Manage technical aspects during broadcasts

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-4 years in production or on-air roles

• Experienced in audio editing software

• Excellent writing and editing skills

• Knowledge of project management systems

• Passionate about arts and cultural narratives
