This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual in journalism to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will tackle breaking news stories, utilizing strong research and writing capabilities to inform and engage the community. The position requires you to work full-time, weekdays from 2 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond quickly to breaking news for digital and radio

• Present live stories with insightful analysis and context

• Distill large volumes of complex information

• Pitch and package original stories that resonate

• Cultivate a network of sources to enhance reporting

Requirements:

• Experience reporting in a multi-platform news environment

• Strong news judgment and quick reaction skills

• Ability to generate compelling story ideas

• Proven writing skills across different media

• University degree in journalism or equivalent with three years' experience
