Financial Institution Regulation Manager

This full-time permanent role involves supervising regulatory activities and developing comprehensive supervisory strategies for ATB and loan/trust corporations. You will analyze financial conditions, present findings to senior management, and manage billions in assets. Your expertise in financial regulation will be crucial to safeguarding stakeholder interests and support key initiatives for Alberta’s financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise regulatory activities for ATB and SPTCs

• Develop supervisory strategies and analyze risk profiles

• Review documentation, drafting, and presentation of reports

• Ensure timely resolution of reported issues

• Support policy projects and respond to inquiries

Requirements:

• University degree in Business, Finance, or Economics

• Minimum of 4 years managerial experience in financial services

• Experience in regulatory frameworks and risk management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Knowledge of financial legislation
