Financial Controller – Legacy Auto Group

Legacy Auto Group is hiring a Financial Controller at our Legacy Dodge Wetaskiwin location. Pre‑training may be required and relocation will be expected for this on‑site position.

• Champion the month‑end close process and prepare dealer financial statements.
• Create insightful management reports.
• Manage payroll processing, compliance, and employee documentation.
• Handle cash management and vehicle transaction accounting.
• Administer benefits program.
• Prepare year‑end materials for external accounting partners.
• Provide guidance to the accounting and administrative team on a daily basis.
• Assist in software implementation projects.
• Ensure compliance with company and manufacturer policies.

• A diploma from a recognized university.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing financial operations.
• Experience with automotive accounting systems such as PBS, CDK, or Reynolds & Reynolds.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Customer‑focused, results‑driven, and detail‑oriented.
• Must have automotive financial experience.
