Legacy Auto Group is seeking a Financial Controller for their Wetaskiwin location. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of financial management experience and a CPA designation. Daily responsibilities include month-end closes, payroll processing, and providing operational guidance, ensuring compliance, and managing cash flow effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion month-end close processes and financial statement preparation

• Create insightful and actionable management reports

• Manage payroll processing and ensure employee documentation compliance

• Handle cash management and vehicle transaction accounting

• Prepare materials for year-end external accounting review

Requirements:

• University diploma and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial operations

• Familiarity with automotive accounting systems

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and controls

• Proficiency in Word and Excel
