Director of Finance

Lead financial strategy at a manufacturing firm as the Director of Finance in Edmonton, Alberta. This position demands expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and team leadership in the Western Canada region.

Reporting to the VP Finance - Operations, you will offer strategic insights across procurement, business planning, and inventory control. You will prepare monthly financial reports, develop a results-oriented finance team, and maintain robust control processes. The role includes overseeing the implementation of capital expenditure processes and ensuring efficient audit reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial insights across operations

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports

• Build and lead a high-performance finance team

• Maintain control processes for working capital management

• Oversee internal control processes and audits

Requirements:

• Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)

• 10+ years of finance experience with 3 years in manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of yield accounting and inventory costing

• Exceptional time management and communication skills

• Experience with ERPs, preferably CSB
