Our Commodity Price Risk Management (CPRM) team works to match hedging activities to pricing activities to protect our margins. In this role you help the CPRM team analyze the commodity market and develop best‑practice tools to forecast market prices.
Responsibilities• Conduct monthly commodity analyses using the latest supply and demand data and best‑in‑class market price forecasts. These analyses support the CPRM team in developing price risk management coverage strategy decisions.
• Use the data collected and analyses performed to improve constraint optimization, develop new, future‑focused price models and long‑range price forecasts.
• Track the CPRM team’s KPIs.
- Agricultural commodity research and commodity markets.
- Analysis methods in an international environment.
- Building market intelligence databases and developing sustainable, forward‑looking price models.
- Make‑or‑buy and end‑to‑end analysis.
- Mathematical and Excel expertise and/or knowledge of artificial intelligence.
- Knowledge or experience in building and managing market intelligence databases.
- Econometric modeling or statistical tools (e.g., Python, R, or other relevant software).
- Strong analytical and communication skills in an international setting.
- Academic background in agronomy, economics, or a related field, with knowledge of commodity or financial markets.
- Proactive mindset with an eagerness to innovate and develop new forecasting tools and strategies.

Salary and BenefitsThe expected base salary range for this position is $84,500 to $105,650 CAD, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 8% and the possibility for over achievement based on performance and company results. Mondelez also offers several generous employee benefits, including health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education‑related programs, and enhanced vacation and holiday entitlements.
