Project Analyst – Financial Management

Maximize project profitability as a Project Analyst, managing costs and financial reporting. Collaborate with teams to ensure robust budgeting and compliance oversight.

The successful Project Analyst will track and analyze financial performance for various projects, working closely with project managers, operations, and senior leadership. This role focuses on ensuring financial accuracy and transparency while supporting compliance and audits. Strong analytical skills and an understanding of project accounting principles are essential for driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze budgets and financial performance

• Prepare bi-weekly cost reports and financial summaries

• Support project managers in understanding financial details

• Process various types of progress billings

• Ensure timely revenue recognition and job reconciliation

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of project accounting experience

• Strong project accounting knowledge and job-costing methods

• Proficiency with accounting software (Sage
300, etc.)

• Excellent Excel skills for data analysis

• Strong communication and organizational skills
