Position: Full-Time Fiscal Policy Intern

In this temporary role, you will learn from the Economics and Fiscal Policy Division for 24 months. The internship offers exposure to economic analysis, fiscal management, and legislative processes. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of Alberta's fiscal framework and the federal-provincial fiscal relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in economic analysis and policy development

• Participate in projects supporting fiscal policy objectives

• Rotate through four branches within the division

• Analyze government decision-making processes

• Prepare demographic and social statistics

Requirements:

• Recent degree in Economics, Finance, or related field

• Preference for master’s degree holders in Economics

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to convey technical issues clearly

• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration
