This position requires you to verify timesheets and oversee payroll expenses, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You’ll process accounts payable and liaise with vendors, preparing detailed management reports to analyze financial performance. Your proficiency with Quick Books and advanced Excel skills will be key to succeeding in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee payroll processing and maintain accurate records
• Prepare invoices by coding them to appropriate ledger accounts
• Create management reports on various financial metrics
• Sort and file financial documents for proper record keeping
• Act as primary contact for vendor inquiries
Requirements:
• Experience with Quick Books, ideally Premier Retail Edition
• Familiarity with Ceridian Payroll and Dayforce module
• Advanced Excel skills, including macro and pivot tables
• Solid understanding of payroll and benefit management
• Must reside in Edmonton
