In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with a Vice President of Commercial Lending and support the analysis and structuring of significant financial deals. With a foundation in commercial credit or real estate underwriting, you’ll engage in financial modeling, loan underwriting, and coordinating with essential stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build financial models and cash flow projections
• Analyze borrower statements and lease terms
• Underwrite conventional and CMHC-backed loan files
• Review essential third-party documents
• Coordinate closely with brokers, lenders, and consultants
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in commercial credit or real estate underwriting
• Strong analytical and Excel skills required
• Knowledge of financial metrics like DSC and LTV
• Degree or diploma in Finance, Real Estate, or Business
• Bonus:
Experience in construction financing is advantageous
