Senior Cost Analyst

Position: Senior Cost Analyst (Fixed-Term)
Overview  Senior Cost Analyst (9‑month fixed‑term) to reconcile investment costs for all asset classes across AIMCo. Are you detail and process‑oriented? Do you relish tackling unsolved challenges? Responsibilities   Compile external investment costs for AIMCo financial statements.
Collaborate with internal counter parties to ensure quarterly investment‑management fees are accrued and reported materially correct.
Prepare quarterly controller’s reports for clients.
Prepare variance analysis for external investment costs on a quarterly basis.
Assess the reasonableness of prime loan fees on a monthly basis.
Work with Front Office to ensure accurate calculation of quarterly management fees for external fund managers.
Perform various reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Assist in the annual financial statement audit process.
Qualifications   Business, Accounting or related degree or diploma is preferred.
Professional designation such as CPA or CFA is required.
5+ years in a related accounting or investment field is required.

Experience with Simcorp Dimensions is an asset.
Strong attention to detail, quick learner and goal‑oriented.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Power BI is an asset.
