Location: NiskuThe Project Analyst is responsible for managing the financial performance of assigned projects by ensuring accurate cost tracking, timely reporting, and effective financial controls. This role works closely with project managers, operations teams, Plant Controller and senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, billing, and compliance activities. The Project Analyst ensures that all project financials are accurate, transparent, and aligned with company standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Financial Management
Monitor, track, and analyze project costs, budgets, and financial performancePrepare Bi-Weekly project cost reports, variance analyses, and financial summariesMaintain accurate job costing, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expensesSupport project managers in understanding financial results and cost driversBilling & Revenue
Prepare and process progress billings, milestone invoices, and time‑and‑materials billingReview contracts to ensure billing aligns with terms, rates, and deliverablesTrack accounts receivable and unbilled accountsEnsure revenue recognition complies with company policies and accounting standardsEnsure jobs are reconciled and closed in a timely manner.Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in developing project budgets and financial forecastsUpdate forecasts based on actual performance and projected costsIdentify cost overruns, risks, and opportunities for savingsSales & Backlog
Assist in the backlog reporting by regionAssist in secured weekly reporting by regionWork with Sales team to ensure sales force is updated correctlyAssist in the backlog flow for accurate reporting.Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate project financial records and documentationEnsure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and client reporting standardsSupport internal and external audits related to project financialsCollaboration & Communication
Work closely with project managers, procurement, and operations teamsProvide financial insights to support decision‑makingCommunicate project financial results clearly and professionally to stakeholdersWork closely with the Plant Controller to ensure alignment.Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of project accounting principles and job‑costing methodsProficiency with accounting software (Sage
300, SAP, or similar)Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong communication and problem‑solving abilitiesExperience in the Manufacturing or Construction industry preferredEducation & Experience
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration2–5+ years of experience in project accounting or cost controlWorking Conditions:
