Pay Details: $60,000 - $70,000 CAD

Job Description: TD Wealth focuses on sophisticated wealth planning and protection. The Financial Planning team delivers personalized advice, solutions, and service to mass affluent clients. The role requires strong relationship management and business development skills to support client financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify client goals and conduct comprehensive financial reviews to build long-term relationships.
- Conduct reporting and analysis, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and assess program effectiveness.
- Contribute to team and department goals while enhancing customer service.
- Monitor service productivity, assess efficiency and implement continuous improvements.
- Stay current with best practices and emerging trends.
- Provide mentorship and direction to others.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control aligned with risk appetite.
- Participate fully as a team member supporting a positive, service-oriented environment.
Educational Requirements:
- University degree (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in the financial services industry managing client relationships and providing advice (preferred).
- CIRO Registered Representative license within the first 120 days.
- Certified Financial Planner designation within the first 3 years.
- CFP eligibility:
University degree or one of the following – QAFP professional in good standing for 5 years, or up to 10 years of qualifying work experience.
Skills:
- Passion for financial planning, driven to help clients reach financial and life goals.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, experience in high-value sales and business development, and ability to prospect external opportunities.
- Deep understanding of industry, competitive landscape, economic issues, and regulation.
- Excellent people and problem-solving skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong communication skills, collaborative and independent, ability to provide assistance and build relationships.
