Financial Analyst Position

This position plays a crucial part in the Financial Operations team. You will administer the Procurement Card program, clarify expense eligibility, troubleshoot issues, and train staff on processes. Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment are essential for interpreting financial policies and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct compliance reviews of financial transactions
• Analyze GL account transactions for accuracy
• Prepare journal entries for corrections
• Oversee vendor master data maintenance
• Support financial reporting and audits
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma and 2 years of related experience
• Experience with financial transactions and compliance
• Knowledge of accounting software such as SAP and Oracle
• Understanding of financial regulations in Alberta
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
