People's Light is seeking a Director of Finance to join their senior leadership team. This role will focus on restructuring the Finance Department, improving financial practices, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Successful candidates will bring a blend of financial expertise and collaborative leadership to support organizational growth and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations for People's Light and The Farmhouse

• Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes

• Prepare insightful financial statements and executive analyses

• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations

• Manage relationships with banking and financial partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

• Minimum 5-7 years in nonprofit financial management

• Deep knowledge of nonprofit accounting and GAAP

• Experience managing budgets over $5 million

• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
