Position: Chief Financial Officer at MacEwan University
Serve as Chief Financial Officer at Mac Ewan University, focusing on finance and administration while driving strategic institutional growth. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to enhance financial resilience.

The Vice-President, Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer (VPFA & CFO) directly reports to the President and plays an essential role among the Executive Council. This full-time position offers an opportunity to lead initiatives that support financial sustainability and operational effectiveness. Develop innovative approaches to revenue generation and engage in community partnerships to support the University’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic financial initiatives

• Manage enterprise risk and compliance within financial systems

• Direct budgeting and resource allocation processes

• Collaborate with teams across finance and administration

• Promote a culture of innovation and improvement in operations

Requirements:

• Relevant degree; CPA designation highly preferred

• Extensive experience in executive finance leadership

• Proven capabilities in leading organizational change

• Experience managing finance and administrative functions

• Strong advisory skills in complex governance settings
