Job Description As the Golf Course Administrator at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you will be an ambassador for exceptional golf experiences at the #1 Golf Resort in Canada rated by SCOREGolf Magazine. The golf course celebrated our 100th Anniversary in 2025 and we will have many exciting projects underway which you can be a part of your ability to provide leadership and guidance to our golf course colleagues will ensure our operation and service levels are second to none in the industry.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly serviceFollow departmental policies, procedures and service standardsProcess all accounts receivable and payablesComplete monthly inventoryReceive Pro Shop retail productGeneral administrative responsibilitiesSupport and assist with all aspects of the Pro Shop area, including sales, customer inquiries, tee time reservations etc.Maintain par inventories of all office suppliesComplete daily payroll reportingDevelop and continue to build strong working team relationship within the department and interdepartmentallyFollow all safety and sanitation policiesAdhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel vehiclesOther duties as assignedQualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Previous retail experience an assetGeneral knowledge of accounting principles requiredReasonable understanding of the game of golf requiredValid Alberta Driver’s License an assetStrong computer skills required – Word, Excel and Point of Sale experience requiredAbility to handle flexible work hoursExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervisionAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
