Job Description

As the Golf Course Administrator at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you will be an ambassador for exceptional golf experiences at the #1 Golf Resort in Canada rated by SCOREGolf Magazine. The golf course celebrated our 100th Anniversary in 2025 and we will have many exciting projects underway which you can be a part of your ability to provide leadership and guidance to our golf course colleagues will ensure our operation and service levels are second to none in the industry.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
  • Process all accounts receivable and payables
  • Complete monthly inventory
  • Receive Pro Shop retail product
  • General administrative responsibilities
  • Support and assist with all aspects of the Pro Shop area, including sales, customer inquiries, tee time reservations etc.
  • Maintain par inventories of all office supplies
  • Complete daily payroll reporting
  • Develop and continue to build strong working team relationship within the department and interdepartmentally
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
  • Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous retail experience an asset
  • General knowledge of accounting principles required
  • Reasonable understanding of the game of golf required
  • Valid Alberta Driver’s License an asset
  • Strong computer skills required – Word, Excel and Point of Sale experience required
  • Ability to handle flexible work hours
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
