Support the cleanliness of Good Samaritan Southgate Care Centre as a Housekeeping Aide in Edmonton, AB. This casual role is essential for maintaining high hygiene standards in resident areas and kitchen facilities.
As a Housekeeping Aide, you will operate under the supervision of the site manager, tackling various cleaning duties. Your involvement in team meetings will allow you to recommend improvements and collaborate with peers. Applicants should be strong communicators and have some housekeeping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• General cleaning of resident rooms and restrooms
• Ensure cleanliness in kitchens and utility rooms
• Engage actively in team meetings
• Suggest cleaning process enhancements
• Assist other staff with housekeeping duties
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 education is essential
• Building Service Worker certificate is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Housekeeping experience preferred
• Clear Criminal Records Check and recent tuberculosis screening
