Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre is looking for a Part-Time Catering Coordinator to support our Sales & Catering team. From business meetings and conferences to weddings and special celebrations, you'll help ensure every event is organized, welcoming, and memorable.

As a Catering Coordinator, you'll be a key point of contact for guests and clients while supporting the planning and coordination of events throughout the hotel.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Booking small meetings and in-house events

• Assisting clients with catering and event inquiries

• Preparing event and wedding packages

• Welcoming clients and guests to the Sales & Catering office

• Supporting hotel functions and special events

• Managing event deposits, payments, and documentation

• Maintaining reports, databases, and office organization

• Assisting with trade shows, promotional initiatives, and sales activities

• Providing exceptional guest service and resolving concerns professionally

• Working closely with multiple hotel departments to ensure successful events

We're looking for someone who is:

✔ Friendly, professional, and guest-focused

✔ Highly organized with strong attention to detail

✔ Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once

✔ A strong communicator both in person and over the phone

✔ Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems

✔ Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

• High School Diploma required

• Previous hospitality, event coordination, guest service, administrative, or sales experience is an asset

• Experience with hotel systems, Delphi, catering software, POS systems, or switchboards is considered an asset

• Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or weekends to support events when required
