Lead the stewarding operations at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts as Chief Steward. Oversee service excellence, team training, and maintain the highest sanitation standards.
This role involves direct supervision of stewarding operations and employees, ensuring adherence to Fairmont's prestigious cleanliness and service standards. You will work closely with outlet leaders to secure proper inventory levels and take active roles in recruitment and training new staff. Your organizational prowess will play a significant role in maintaining an efficient and respectful workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train stewarding employees effectively
• Ensure compliance with health and safety practices
• Maintain cleanliness per Fairmont's established standards
• Conduct regular inventories for resource optimization
• Collaborate to foster an inclusive workplace culture
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in Food and Beverage
• Comprehensive knowledge of stewarding functions
• Strong computer skills including Excel
• Hospitality Management diploma or degree preferred
• WHMIS certification is mandatory
