Join Dexterra Group as a Dining Room Technician and supervise dining operations in a remote camp environment. Your leadership will ensure exceptional service, cleanliness, and organization.
The Dining Room Technician plays a crucial role, reporting to the Chef and managing staff during service hours to uphold cleanliness and operational standards. With required travel to project sites from Edmonton or Yellowknife, your prior experience in food service or hospitality will be vital for success. This role supports effective meal service delivery in a challenging remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily dining room operations for meal services
• Direct Kitchen Helpers and ensure task completion
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of guest areas
• Conduct inspections for service and cleaning standards
• Address guest service issues professionally and promptly
Requirements:
• High school diploma preferred
• 1–3 years in food service or remote camp settings
• Experience in leadership roles is an asset
• Compliance with all safety and sanitation standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
