Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre is looking for a Part‑Time Catering Coordinator to support our Sales & Catering team. From business meetings and conferences to weddings and special celebrations, you’ll help ensure every event is organized, welcoming, and memorable.

What You’ll Do
As a Catering Coordinator, you’ll be a key point of contact for guests and clients while supporting the planning and coordination of events throughout the hotel.
Your responsibilities will include:
Booking small meetings and in‑house events
Assisting clients with catering and event inquiries
Preparing event and wedding packages
Welcoming clients and guests to the Sales & Catering office
Supporting hotel functions and special events
Managing event deposits, payments, and documentation
Maintaining reports, databases, and office organization
Assisting with trade shows, promotional initiatives, and sales activities
Providing exceptional guest service and resolving concerns professionally
Working closely with multiple hotel departments to ensure successful events
What We’re Looking For
Friendly, professional, and guest‑focused
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
A strong communicator both in person and over the phone
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
Previous hospitality, event coordination, guest service, administrative, or sales experience is an asset
Experience with hotel systems, Delphi, catering software, POS systems, or switchboards is considered an asset
Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or weekends to support events when required
