Hotel Supervisor, Glacier View Lodge

Overview

At Pursuit, we offer more than just a place to visit; we create opportunities for guests to connect with iconic destinations such as the Globe‑view Lodge, Glacier Adventure, and Skywalk. This seasonal on‑site living role is full‑time, located at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, offering 100km from Jasper and breathtaking glacier views. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day.

• $20/day for housing and meals
• End‑of‑season retention bonus up to $1.00/hr
• Starting wage $22.00/hour

• Assist the Housekeeping team in all areas of daily housekeeping service.
• Manage Housekeeping, Host and Front Desk teams on Manager’s scheduled days off and as required.
• Inspect the work of housekeepers, hosts, and front desk agents to ensure operational standards are met.
• Assist the Hotel Manager in maintaining quality control in all areas of the Lodge.
• Assist the Hotel Manager in controlling stock & inventories of supplies and linens.
• Investigate and respond to all complaints/suggestions regarding GVL services, taking corrective action.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager to submit rooms for check‑in and report any room or guest issues.
• Assist the Hotel Manager in organizing and providing training programs in accordance with housekeeping/host/front desk standard procedures.
• Enforce all company policies and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping, front desk, or hotel operations.
• A positive, helpful, team‑oriented, inspiring, and cooperative attitude.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently.
• Current Alberta Pro Serve Certification (required).
• Process information quickly and recommend solutions.
• Remain calm under pressure; resilient, adaptable, and flexible.
• Strong organization and time‑management skills.
• Prior cash handling, hotel front desk, and night auditing experience.
• Ability to think outside the box with quick, thoughtful judgment and a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail, speed, consistency, and follow‑through with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Guest‑service‑oriented mindset and passion for delivering memorable experiences.
• Team player in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
• Highly attentive to detail and self‑motivated with little supervision.
• Flexible to work mornings, evenings, or nights as required.
