Job Description

Fairmont Gold Supervisor (Full Time)

At Fairmont Macdonald, unparalleled service and luxury await guests of Fairmont Gold, our exclusive “hotel within a hotel” experience. By fostering an engaged team of service professionals as a Fairmont Gold Supervisor, you will bring our exceptional “Fairmont Gold standards” to life in our Fairmont Gold Lounge and it’s Guests.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to provide warm, anticipated service to exceed the needs and expectations of our discerning guests by providing a personalized curated guest experience.
  • Must be able to perform all front desk duties including but not limited to accurately post all charges, assist with check in/out procedures, auditing and reporting.
  • Lead and supervise the day to day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service.
  • Review all Fairmont Gold reservations ensuring accuracy, and that all standards are met.
  • Provide exceptional concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, and other available services
  • Must be available for shift work including weekends, mornings, and evenings.
  • Ensure the arrival and departure experience of all guests is seamless through coordination of our market mix and VIP's
  • Empower colleagues to appease any guest service challenges and ensure all guest issues are tracked and followed up on to ensure service recovery
  • Consistently seeking ideas for enhancing the Fairmont Gold product and services
  • Maintaining communication with all departments within the hotel to ensure that Fairmont Gold standards are delivered on a consistent basis
  • Ensure food and beverage standards are adhered to on a daily basis while continually raising the bar of service excellence; assisting Lounge Attendants when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum 1 years previous Front Desk supervisory experience in a Large Hotel preferred
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Micros-Opera PROPERTY Manager, word and excel
  • Previous working experience in Royal Service and or dealing with guest recovery with excellent recovery
