Serve guests at Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel in Edmonton with energetic hospitality, flexible teamwork, and detail-focused event execution.
As a full-time Banquet Server, you will help keep functions running smoothly from pre-function briefings through teardown. Responsibilities include setting tables, supporting buffets, serving timed courses, replenishing beverages, and keeping stations spotless. You will assist guests, escalate needs to the captain, handle à la carte payments, and adapt wherever support is needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in pre-function briefings before events
- Set tables according to Banquet Event Orders
- Maintain clean stations and replenish guest beverages
- Anticipate needs and refer complex requests to captains
- Assist with side work, room flips, and teardown
- High school diploma or GED
- Pro Serve Certification
- Strong customer service and hospitality experience
- Ability to adapt and work with little supervision
- Prior hotel experience is a strong asset
