Are you passionate about connecting great people with meaningful work? EPCOR is looking for a full-time Talent Acquisition (TA) Business Partner to join our team in Edmonton, AB.
In this exciting role, you’ll be the strategic force behind full-cycle recruitment — shaping hiring strategies, building strong partnerships, and ensuring every candidate touchpoint reflects EPCOR’s values and culture. You’ll play a key role in attracting top talent, enhancing candidate experience, and driving forward-thinking recruitment solutions that align with our business goals.
As part of our commitment to flexibility, the successful candidate may be eligible to participate in EPCOR’s hybrid Who We Work program after 3 to 6 months in the role, based on eligibility.

What you’d be responsible for  In the role of TA Business Partner, you are accountable to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and will have the following key accountabilities:
Strategic Partnership and Innovation
Collaborating with hiring managers to design inclusive, forward-looking recruitment strategies that align with business needs and market dynamics.
Providing expert guidance on labor trends, compensation, and collective agreements to support equitable and compliant hiring.
Driving innovation by identifying opportunities to improve recruitment tools, processes, and service delivery.
Tracking and reporting on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, candidate satisfaction) to drive performance and improvement.
Full Cycle Recruitment Delivery
Leading full-cycle recruitment for a diverse range of roles, leveraging cutting-edge sourcing tools to attract top-tier talent.
Aligning recruitment strategies with workforce and succession planning in partnership with hiring managers and academic institutions.
Representing EPCOR at industry events and ensuring all hiring practices meet legal, policy, and collective agreement standards.
Contributing to budgeting and planning for recruitment initiatives and employer branding efforts.
Candidate Experience and Employer Branding
Championing a seamless, inclusive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding, with clear communication and timely feedback.
Monitoring candidate satisfaction and continuously improving recruitment touchpoints to reflect EPCOR’s values.
Collaborating with Communications and Public Engagement to elevate employer branding.
Workforce Planning Support
Analyzing labor market trends and recruitment data to inform strategic planning and budget decisions.
Contributing to planning cycles that connect talent acquisition with long-term organizational strategy.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support
Building strong relationships across EPCOR—including HR, DEI, Indigenous Relations, IT, and Communications and Public Engagement—to support inclusive, strategic hiring.
Supporting onboarding initiatives and enterprise-wide projects like ERP implementation and hybrid work strategy.
Maintaining external networks to stay ahead of labor market trends and recruitment innovations.
What’s required to be successful  Education and Credentials
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is required.
A CPHR or SHRM designation is considered an asset.
Experience
5+ years of progressive experience in Recruitment.
Proven success managing full-cycle recruitment across diverse functions, with strategic sourcing expertise for hard-to-fill roles.
Skilled in designing competency-based interviews and advising leaders on sourcing tactics, budgets, and candidate pools.
