Location: LeducApex Utilities Inc. is a provincially regulated natural gas distribution utility delivering safe and reliable natural gas service to over 85,000 residential, rural, commercial, and industrial customers in more than 90 communities across Alberta. What You Will Do:
As a HR Specialist, Talent Acquisition, you will play an essential role within our Corporate Services reporting to Manager, Human Resources. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Leads the Company’s Recruitment, Selection, Onboarding, and Orientation ProcessesLeads the Administration of Corporate Functions and Employee Relationship ProgramsGuides the Job Description Editing and Approval ProcessLeads the Processes Associated with Employee Resignation, Termination, and RetirementWhat You Will Bring:
Required qualifications:
University Degree Majoring in Human Resources or equivalent, andRegistered Professional Recruiter Designation or equivalent,Minimum 5 Years experience in general HR function including 2 Years' experience in talent acquisition,Valid Alberta Drivers Licence.Preferred skills and qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and legislationExceptional oral and written communications skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to demonstrate empathy, be intuitive, and be approachableAbility to read, comprehend, and apply contract languageAbility to maintain complete confidentiality and adhere to strict guidelines when dealing with confidential information on a regular basisDemonstrate a high level of integrity and ethical standardsIntermediate skills in Microsoft Office 365 Suite of productsExperience with HRISAdvanced skills with recruiting systems products or equivalent softwareIf you meet most but not all qualifications, you are still encouraged to apply.
