Location: Spruce GrovePayroll AdministratorOur client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role is integral to managing payroll and benefits administration across a regional portfolio. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong
attention to detail and proven experience managing payroll independently across multiple provinces.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:Process weekly Payroll for employees within your regional assigned payroll portfolioMaintain accurate payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changesUse Dayforce to calculate weekly earnings and deductionsEnsure accurate tax withholdings and statutory deductionsProcess ROEs as requiredResolve payroll discrepancies and inquiriesAdminister benefit deductions (health insurance and retirement plan) and reconcile as requiredCoordinate payroll activities with Operations, HR, and FinancePrepare reports on a weekly and monthly basisMaintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee informationYour strengths include:3+ years of full cycle payroll processing experiencePrevious experience within the construction industry is preferredA PCP designation (or pursuing) and previous experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a strong assetAdaptability and creativity in handling payroll and benefits-related issues, along with the ability to think outside the box and provide timely solutionsAn approachable, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills to work effectively with both employees and managersA high level of flexibility and demonstrates the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment
