Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Director of Human Resources Operations. This role is pivotal in driving HR excellence across multiple facilities in Canada and the U.S., ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance with employment legislation, and fostering a high-performance culture.

• Standardize HR practices and ensure compliance
• Advise plant managers and senior leaders on workforce strategy
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
• Lead succession planning and leadership development
• Ensure legal compliance and manage employee relations
• Optimize HR systems and processes
• Champion DEI and employee engagement programs

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment laws
• Experience in unionized and non-unionized environments
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong project management and budgeting capabilities
• Proficiency in cloud-based HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
