We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources professional to support our department’s programs, policies, and initiatives while upholding our strong commitment to customer service excellence.
Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and administering a comprehensive total rewards strategy. Your work will help attract, reward, retain, and develop top talent across the organization. You will also contribute to the successful implementation and administration of Supply Ontario’s Human Capital Management System (HCMS).
Responsibilities- Designs, implements, and maintains base pay structures that balance market competitiveness with internal job growth, in alignment with market surveys, market comparators and relevant legislation.
- Manages the annual compensation cycles, including compensation review process, ensuring budget adherence, and summarizing for senior management presentations.
- Leads the job evaluation committee, job reclassifications, internal equity and pay equity processes and collaborates with the Organizational & Job Design specialists in the preparation of job descriptions, grading of jobs and assigning appropriate salary range.
- Leads the administration of Supply Ontario’s salary structure and compensation programs to ensure compliance with relevant legislative authorities (i.e., pay equity) and applicable policies.
- Provides functional guidance related to pension and benefits administration to ensure alignment with total rewards programs and policies.
- Leads the development of workforce HCMS reports and briefing materials, statistics, and prepares information related to compensation and benefits for the HR performance measures.
- Researches and gathers information on compensation and benefits best practices, legislative issues and market competitiveness, and technology needs or trends required to effectively deliver compensation and benefits.
- Advises on job offers, promotions, and pay adjustments using internal and market data.
- Provides support in administration of Supply Ontario’s Payroll System to ensure timely collection, security, and control of consistent data collection, analytics and reporting in support benefits and pensions administration.
- Maintains various databases, tracking and administrative systems in support of various HR processes, including workforce planning, position control, collective bargaining and corporate budgeting purposes for payroll.
- Provides advice and guidance to the HR Team in data collection and reporting of Supply Ontario’s human resources activities including assistance on workforce demographic profiles, vacancies and data required for various HR programs.
- Develops and implements metrics and measures and leverages the full potential of internal HR data to identify new areas to optimize and enhance efficiency through continuous improvement in all program areas.
- Participates with the HR team on projects involving the development of tools, policies, supports and processes for the introduction of innovative best practices to support critical change for a modern and flexible work environment.
- Supports Supply Ontario’s customer service standards, enabling client success and business improvement/continuous improvement activities.
- Plays a lead role in the implementation of Supply Ontario’s Human Capital Management System (HCMS).
- Provides oversight and administration of Supply Ontario’s Human Capital Management System (HCMS) to ensure timely collection, security, and control of consistent data collection, analytics and reporting in support of HR and Supply Ontario’s workforce planning, benefits, and pensions administration; position control, collective bargaining and/or corporate budgeting purposes.
- Conducts systems audits of the HCMS to ensure data integrity, maintain security and accuracy of employee related data.
- Monitors and analyzes the HCMS to resolve all issues and escalates technical issues to systems specialists to ensure timely resolution of problems.
