Elevate your career with the Health Sciences Association of Alberta as a Labour Relations Officer in Edmonton. This full-time role encompasses providing key labour relations services and advocacy for our members.
We seek a candidate with at least three years of experience in Labour Relations or a related discipline. This position will focus on mentoring stewards, facilitating workshops, and engaging in arbitration processes. A strong grasp of collective agreement interpretation and effective communication methods is essential to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for members’ rights in labour relations
• Mentor and facilitate workshops for stewards
• Lead initiatives in collective bargaining efforts
• Participate actively in arbitration and grievance hearings
• Develop strategic training programs for team enhancement
Requirements:
• Three years of relevant Labour Relations or HR experience
• Degree in a related field focused on employment law
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
