Strong knowledge of Alberta employment legislation.

Proven ability to coach and influence leaders by building manager capability.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences and situations.

Strong cross‑cultural communication skills; additional language proficiency is an asset.

Strong organization, follow‑through, critical thinking and sound judgment.

HRIS experience required; UKG experience is an asset.

CPHR designation (or working toward it) is an asset.

A growth mindset and genuine motivation to help shape the future of the HR function as the role evolves.
