The Opportunity
This position will start 100% onsite, primarily at our AMA Kingsway location, before transitioning to a hybrid light schedule (onsite once a week).

Responsibilities How You’ll Make An Impact
Reporting to the Supervisor, Recruitment, you’ll be responsible for seeing recruitment activities through from beginning to end and working with the hiring manager to successfully attract quality applicants by:
Creating engaging job ads that are tailored to the top talent you’re searching for
Posting ads to relevant/strategic job sites
Sourcing resumes through various channels
Constructing purposeful interview guides
Participate in interviews directly with project and hiring managers
Leverage social media as a key strategic recruitment tool
Act as a consultant to hiring managers on labour market trends and best practices
Participate and lead strategic recruitment initiatives
Source for top talent using database searching, job postings/searching, social media and industry networking for a variety of niche positions
Proactively create and maintain a current and up-to-date candidate pipeline
Promote AMA, highlighting the many perks of working here, including being able to speak to AMA’s total rewards
Liaise with the Supervisor, Recruitment to support the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies and candidate marketing programs
Staying current on new and innovative recruitment methods and technology
Lead recruitment initiatives from research to implementation
Review interview guides to ensure the questions fit with AMA’s culture
