This role requires a proactive and detail-focused individual who will handle payroll transactions while conducting necessary audits. You will reconcile payroll data, assist with inquiries, and ensure compliance with operational requirements. Your analytical skills will directly impact the accuracy of payroll processing in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute payroll processing and perform daily time audits
• Conduct biweekly reviews of payroll transactions against scheduling
• Update payroll for employees on sick leave, WCB, and modified work
• Manage daily communications with staff and disability management
• Produce audit reports to identify and correct discrepancies
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 with business subjects or related certification
• Two years of relevant office experience including payroll
• Familiarity with corporate software, especially Telestaff and People Soft
• Strong proofreading and communication abilities
• Professional handling of confidential payroll information
