Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Workday Benefits & Recruiting Analyst to support and optimize Workday Benefits and Recruiting

Join a Workday Digital Capability Team supporting critical HR systems within a large, complex organization. This role focuses on configuring, enhancing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Workday Benefits and Recruiting, including business processes, security, reporting, and integrations. The position offers hands-on ownership across platform enhancements, releases, testing, and production support while partnering with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendor teams.

Must Haves

  • Active Workday Certification in Benefits
    , Recruiting
    , or related module
  • 7+ years of Workday experience including support for Benefits and Recruiting (or a related module)
  • Workday Business Processes
    , Security
    , Reporting
    , and Integrations
  • Benefits configuration
    , Recruiting configuration
    , Calculated Fields
    , and Security Administration

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting large, complex organizations
  • Experience in a unionized environment
  • Workday cross-functional experience in Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Absence Management, or Time Tracking
  • Experience with EIBs, connectors, testing, data validation, and release management
  • Availability for occasional travel to Ottawa office if remote

    • Responsibilities

  • Serve as the SME for Workday Benefits and Recruiting
  • Configure and maintain benefit plans, eligibility rules, life events, open enrollment, carrier integrations, and recruiting processes
  • Support job requisitions, candidate workflows, offer management, career sites, and recruiting security
  • Troubleshoot configuration, enrollment, recruiting, reporting, business process, and security issues
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and data audits
  • Support integrations, EIBs, testing, releases, enhancements, and production support
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, IT, and vendors to deliver effective solutions
