Our client is seeking an HR Generalist to support the day-to-day delivery of human resources programs and initiatives. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant screening, and interview coordination
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience
- Support performance management processes and provide tools and resources to leaders
- Administer employee benefits programs, enrollments, and employee changes
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns
- Partner with managers to address performance, conduct, and conflict-related issues
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data
- Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation and company policies
- Support a positive and collaborative workplace culture
- 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management initiatives
- Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and HR best practices
- Experience administering employee benefits and maintaining HR records
- Ability to develop and maintain HR forms, templates, and process documentation
- Experience working with HRIS systems;
BambooHR experience considered an asset - Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- CPHR or CHRP designation, or progress toward completion, considered an asset
