Aplin is recruiting for a Bilingual Payroll Specialist to strengthen their centralized payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have prior full-cycle payroll experience and manage payroll activities specific to Quebec employees. Strong written and verbal communication in both French and English is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle payroll processes for hourly employees
• Handle employee onboarding, transitions, and terminations
• Review time entries and implement electronic reporting systems
• Prepare T4s, Relevé 1s, and maintain payroll compliance
• Liaise with union representatives and respond to inquiries
Requirements:
• Fluency in both written and spoken French and English
• 2+ years of payroll experience, 5+ preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll processes
• Experience in high-volume payroll environments
• Comfortable working in-office in Edmonton
