Associate Family Law Lawyer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Associate Family Law Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a background in family law and a commitment to providing excellent legal representation to clients facing various family-related issues. As a Family Law Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of cases, including divorce, child custody, and support issues along with other family law matters.
The ideal candidate must be:
A member of good standing with the Law Society of Alberta;
3+ years of family law practice experience and be able to make a positive contribution to a firm culture emphasizing collegiality, mutual respect and team building between lawyers and staff.
Responsibilities   Provide legal advice and representation to clients in all aspects of family law.
Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, and court filings.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
Stay updated on changes in family law statutes, regulations, and case law.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and responsiveness.
Uphold ethical standards and professional conduct at all times.
