Job Description
As a Project Manager you will be involved in:
Ensure project scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met in alignment with PMO standardsManaging project development and project execution through to start-upEnsuring successful completion of projects according to defined and agreed-upon objectivesWork directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates and budget, work plan schedule/milestones, quality control, and risk management.Perform site visits, review progress and review work quality.Review and track schedule and work progress.Provide regular updates on project status, risks, issues, and performance metricsIdentify potential risks and assess for mitigation, ensuring decisions are routed to appropriate approversDocument decisions and changes to maintain records for cost recovery and regulatory complianceEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policiesRegularly collaborate and coordinate with internal resources, consultants, client stakeholders and general contractors/construction managers as well as represent the client with third partiesOversee fieldwork and contractor oversight to perform construction quality assurance.Manage project closeout; financial close, conduct lessons learned, ensure documentation complete.Qualifications
A minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction.Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a high-pressure environment.Experience in Oil & Gas, pipeline construction or linear construction is highly desirableA recognized university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction Management or a relevant subjectFamiliarity with Cost Plus or Cost Reimbursable Contract delivery model is an assetProject Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferredProficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; understanding of planning software such as P6 is considered an asset.Strong with numbers, technology, and web-based data platformsAdditional Information
