- Monitor industry, regulatory, and reputational trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Support enterprise strategic and business planning, ensuring alignment with the Five-Year Strategic Plan.
- Provide evidence-based strategic advice to the CEO and executive leadership team to guide informed decision-making.
- Identify and escalate enterprise or reputational risks in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Establish organization-wide standards for messaging, communications, reporting, and brand alignment.
- Lead issues management, crisis communication readiness, and media response strategies.
- Guide member, partner, and government engagement to strengthen relationships and support organizational priorities.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate communications, digital channels, brand standards, events, and campaigns.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Post-secondary degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, Public Policy, or a related field (Master's degree considered an asset).
- 10+ years of progressive experience advising senior leadership, including 7+ years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, communications, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, balance strategic and operational priorities, and oversee sensitive information with discretion.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with the organization's core values.
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
