Project ManagerOur client is searching for a hands-on Project Manager to join their successful team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage the overall project planning, scheduling,
resource allocation, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Project Manager will be responsible for covering a broad spectrum covering all areas of
project management such as project planning, cost management, time management, quality management, and safety management.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:Full cycle project management of commercial construction and TI projectsProject plan, budget, and identify resources as neededCreate teams, develop objectives and goals of each, and assign responsibilitiesMinimize exposure and riskEnsure construction activities move according to predetermined scheduleDevise project work plans and make revisions when the need arisesCommunicate effectively with contractors responsible for completing various phases of the projectCoordinate efforts of all parties involved in the projectMonitor the progress of construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular meetings with all partiesMaintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standardsPeriodic inspection of construction sitesEnsure all project documentation is completeIdentify elements of project design and scope likely to give rise to disputes and claimsServe as key link with clients and review deliverables prepared by the team before passing onto the clientYour strengths include:Minimum 5 years of Project ManagementPMI Certifications (PMP) or post-secondary project management training would also be considered an assetAbility to plan and organize a team effortGood client management and goodwill building abilityCapacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of workersEffective time management and logical decision-making abilityCapacity to handle pressureWillingness to travel extensively across possible multiple sitesStrong physical and mental fitnessStrong focus on quality and safetyExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational skills
