Engaged with the Chief Administrative Officer, you will spearhead various planning and development efforts, including land use regulations and urban revitalization projects. This leadership role focuses on mentorship and collaboration with a small team to foster strategic municipal planning. You will act as an advisor on critical policy frameworks while managing relationships with regional partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead preparation of Area Structure and Redevelopment Plans
• Process and review subdivision and development permits
• Modernize planning policies and community engagement strategies
• Guide the Community Planner and Development Clerk
• Prepare annual operating and capital budgets
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Planning or equivalent
• 5 years of progressive planning experience
• RPP certification desired
• Strong knowledge of statutory planning processes
• Skilled in GIS and the interpretation of technical plans
Utilize your experience in statutory planning and community leadership to drive progress in High Level.
