Alberta Public Safety and Emergency Services is looking for a dedicated Manager for their Search and Rescue Program. This full-time position requires not only strategic thinking and analysis but also hands‑on involvement in collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including law enforcement and volunteer organizations. The role is focused on fostering relationships, overseeing grant programs, and ensuring quick adaptation to changing priorities.

• Lead strategic and operational oversight of SAR programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations
• Advise senior management on emerging risks and needs
• Prepare briefings, presentations, and communication materials
• Contribute to the broader Emergency Management portfolio

• University degree in a related field
• 4 years of relevant experience in law enforcement or emergency management
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Experience managing complex projects
• Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional coordination practices
