Land Development Planning Supervisor

In this position, you will lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional planning services, including managing critical budgets and aligning projects with the City’s overarching goals. Your expertise in negotiation and strategic analysis will resolve complex challenges and foster collaborative performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor land development professionals effectively
• Oversee planning initiatives, including rezonings and subdivisions
• Manage budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility
• Engage effectively with community stakeholders
• Prepare and present reports to City Council
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban or Regional Planning
• Minimum seven years in a leadership role in land development
• Strong conflict resolution abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
