Executive Financial Leader

Position: Executive Financial Leader at YESS
Take the helm as Chief Financial Officer at YESS, a not-for-profit agency in Edmonton. Oversee financial management and strategic planning to support youth services.

You will play a crucial role in the Executive Leadership Team and report to the CEO, driving financial sustainability and operational efficiency. This position encompasses Finance, People & Culture, Facilities Management, Health & Safety, and IT while fostering a collaborative culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory compliance

• Manage cash flow and financial sustainability initiatives

• Conduct annual audits and manage risk frameworks

• Present financial insights to the CEO and Board of Directors

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of financial management experience

• CPA designation required

• 3 years in senior leadership roles

• Experience in strategic financial planning

• Knowledge of nonprofit or public sector finance
